**Neurodivergent Testing for ADHD & Autism Coming to Uplift Family Psychiatry – May 2026**
At Uplift Family Psychiatry, we believe that clarity brings empowerment. We are excited to announce that beginning May 2026, our practice will offer comprehensive neurodivergent evaluations for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for children, teens, and adults (ages 3 and up) across Florida.
This new service will allow individuals and families to receive high-quality, culturally sensitive, and neurodiversity-affirming testing—all within the supportive environment of our psychiatric practice.
🌐 Online ADHD & Autism Testing Through Secure Telehealth
Starting May 2026, neurodivergent evaluations will be available 100% online through our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. This allows patients to complete most parts of the assessment—including interviews, screenings, behavioral observations, and questionnaires—from the comfort and privacy of their home.
Online testing is especially helpful for individuals who may struggle with:
Transportation barriers
Sensory overwhelm in unfamiliar settings
Anxiety about in-office visits
Busy family or work schedules
Living in counties with limited access to neuropsychological services
Our virtual process is structured, clinically reliable, and follows the same professional standards used in traditional in-person evaluations. Parents, caregivers, teachers, or partners can also participate virtually when needed, ensuring a complete and accurate assessment.
Telehealth makes high-quality ADHD and autism testing more accessible, more comfortable, and more convenient—without compromising clinical accuracy.
Why Neurodivergent Testing Matters
Many children and adults spend years struggling with:
Difficulty focusing or staying organized
Emotional overwhelm
Sensory sensitivities
Social challenges
Feeling “different” but not sure why
Masking, burnout, or chronic fatigue
School or workplace difficulties
Anxiety, depression, or frustration without a clear explanation
A detailed evaluation can finally answer the question: Why is this happening?
Receiving a clear diagnosis—whether ADHD, Autism, both, or something else—can help individuals:
Understand their strengths and challenges
Access school and workplace accommodations
Receive appropriate mental health treatment
Improve relationships and communication
Reduce shame and self-blame
Advocate for their needs confidently
Get support sooner and more effectively
Our testing approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and neurodiversity-affirming.
What Our ADHD & Autism Testing Will Include
Beginning in May 2026, our assessments will provide a comprehensive, individualized understanding of each patient’s neurotype. Each evaluation may include:
1. In-Depth Clinical Interview
A detailed discussion of developmental history, emotional functioning, behavior patterns, strengths, and concerns.
2. Standardized Screening Tools
Validated questionnaires designed to assess attention, social communication, sensory processing, and executive functioning.
3. Behavioral & Cognitive Assessment
Evaluation of emotional regulation, coping patterns, daily functioning, and co-occurring symptoms such as anxiety or mood disorders.
4. Collateral Input (When Helpful)
Optional interviews with parents, partners, teachers, or caregivers to gather additional insights.
5. Diagnostic Clarification
Careful differentiation between ADHD, Autism, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, trauma, learning differences, and other conditions.
6. Comprehensive Diagnostic Report
Clear, practical recommendations for school, work, therapy, medication, accommodations, and daily support.
